Managing member shops and products in the Business Network.

Shops Overview

The Shops feature allows members to showcase their businesses, products, and services. This section explains how to set up and manage shops for your network members.

Shop Management

Creating a New Shop

  1. Navigate to the Shops section from the sidebar
  2. Click the "Create Shop" button
  3. Fill in the shop details:
    • Shop Name
    • Description
    • Select Member (shop owner)
    • Contact Information (mobile, phone, WhatsApp)
    • Email
    • Address
    • Select City
    • Select Category
    • Upload Logo
    • Upload Banner
  4. Click "Create" to set up the shop

Viewing Shop Details

To view a shop's details, click on its name in the shops list. The shop page shows:

  • Shop information
  • Owner details
  • Products and services
  • Contact information

Product Management

Adding Products to a Shop

  1. Navigate to the shop details page
  2. Click the "Add Product" button
  3. Fill in the product details:
    • Product Name
    • Description
    • Type (Product or Service)
    • Upload Photo
  4. Click "Add" to create the product

Editing Products

  1. Navigate to the shop details page
  2. Find the product in the products list
  3. Click the "Edit" button
  4. Update the product details
  5. Click "Save" to apply the changes

Removing Products

  1. Navigate to the shop details page
  2. Find the product in the products list
  3. Click the "Delete" button
  4. Confirm the deletion

Shop Status Management

Shops can have different statuses:

  • Active: The shop is visible and operational
  • Inactive: The shop is temporarily hidden
  • Pending: The shop is awaiting approval

To update a shop's status:

  1. Navigate to the shop details page
  2. Click the "Update Status" button
  3. Select the new status
  4. Click "Update" to save the changes

Shop Categories

Shops are organized by categories to help users find relevant businesses:

  • Each shop must belong to a category
  • Categories are managed in the Business Settings section
  • Users can filter shops by category

Tip: Encourage members to keep their shop information and product listings up to date to maximize visibility and business opportunities.
